"The author, Peter Desmond Kelly, gave me a preview PDF copy of his book to read. A quote from his introduction is “This book is a convergence of science, holistic healing, and spirituality, crafted to appeal to those who seek logical, scientific explanations and those drawn to the profound depths of spiritual wisdom.” I feel he succeeded with that goal. His description of the subconscious mind covered that topic very well. Throughout the book, I appreciated that he would describe how our mind works, then give techniques to help us make the changes we desire. He touched on many possible tools for transformation including meditation (various types), visualizing, affirmations, sound healing, and Hypnotic Energic Healing (which is a fascinating combination of hypnosis, energy and sound therapy). Also included are links to three YouTube hypnotic sessions. What a terrific bonus! I will be adding this book to the list of recommended books I give to my clients."

As a retired physician and hypnotherapist with over fifty years of experience as a therapist, I regard this book as a guidebook to becoming the best version of yourself.
The author, a therapist, psychologist, author, and producer of a large number of recorded therapeutic videos available on YouTube, has encompassed a vast plethora of commentaries designed to guide the reader in the adventure called life.
My area of expertise is as a hypnotherapist. Peter, like wise is an accomplished hypnotherapist, but added to this faculty, his vast knowledge of the human condition, is associated with numerous approaches by which the reader may reach the enviable state of being the best version of themselves in bite sized pieces.
Peter’s writing style flows effortlessly from one aspect of self-improvement to the next, building on a basic explanation of the workings of the brain and the three aspects of it’s workings, the conscious mind, the subconscious mind and the unconscious mind.
Peter writes with a gentle authority based on his unique knowledge of the subject matter, explaining the underpinnings of his assertions and suggesting ways of utilizing each of the therapeutic processes that inevitably lead the reader to authentic change in desired aspects of their lives.
Although there are numerous books published in the self help market, few have the completeness with which Peter has created this compendium of beneficial approaches each added as a layer on the basic explanations written about in the chapters on the brain and mind.
